Establish back in 2013, APU Japanese Cultural Club have been part of APU for a long time. Lead by a group of committee, we constantly organising event and meetings that revolving around Japanese Culture.

Join us for a hands-on workshop on wotagei, a Japanese cultural performance revolutionised by the love for Japanese Idols!Wotagei (ヲタ芸), also known as otagei (オタ芸), refers to a type of dancing and cheering gestures performed by wota, involving the basic of jumping, clapping, arm-waving and chanting slogans to support their idols. Nowadays, fluorescent sticks in hand make them create more skills and choreography for a song that make Wotagei be part of the performance to perform on stage. 🌸
